You may have 1,000s of happy users, but let’s not forget you posted on Reddit and have many away. And to the developer, yes it was all setup correctly with all of the correct permissions. Get AMPlosion instead and Unsmartifier, they’re both way better and actually work.

I’ll update my review someday when this App actually does what I paid for it to do. Additionally, I use Google News and still get AMP URLs instead of the site’s URL. I’m not sure if every website has to be manually added, but regardless it does make more to be desired. However, I still get those pop-ups for many sites. I got this to block websites from asking me to use their App. Whether it’s a modal covering half the screen with links to the App Store, an immediate popup asking you to login, or a header screaming “the app is 10x better” it has to go. Harder for us to block ads and much easier for them to scoop up your data, right? To further that agenda, simply browsing their sites on Safari now means we’re inundated with, well, waves of crap. Whether it’s Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Imgur, Quora, or Reddit, everyone wants me, and by extension you, to use their damned apps to consume content. Prevent Quora from asking you to login to just look at an answer. Rekt nukes those infernal AMP links from Google by transparently redirecting you to the correct, canonical link.
